BCWP Summer Season

Bluff City Water Polo is excited to announce the details for our Summer Season!

PRACTICES:

Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays 7:30-9:30pm
Saturdays 12-2pm
Season begins March 18 and goes until the end of July
 

Athletes 10th grade and older who want extra practice are also invited to participate in masters practices Sundays 1-2:30pm and Wednesdays 6:15-7:30pm at Nuber YMCA.  Please check calendar at BCWP.ORG for up to date practice dates.
 

DISCOUNTS:

Sibling Discounts are applied to the session fees, not the registration fees:
First player full price
2nd player $25 off
3rd player $50 off
4th player no cost
 

PAYMENT OPTIONS:

Cost for the summer season:
$250 Registration fee due before first practice
$150 a month due the 15th of every month. (March-June)
Players also have the option to pay in full.

REGISTRATION:
All members are required to have a valid American Water Polo (AWP) registration (with ID number).  Our club is sanctioned under American Water Polo.  This organization acts as a secondary insurance for water polo players, coaches, referees and officials. To register, go to www.americanwaterpolo.org. 

If you played in the spring HS season or the Off Season Workouts, you likely already have an AWP number.  Check your expiration date, it should go through at a minimum July 31, 2024.   Make sure you find your AWP number before you proceed.   All players should have a AWP number before getting into the water.
 

TOURNAMENTS 
Tentative Tournaments:
St Louis  - April 6
Atlanta -  May 4
Moonshot in Huntsville - June 8-9
Chicago - Early July

There will be a player fee for each tournament payable prior to the tournament.  Players are responsible for their own travel and accommodations.

 

COMMUNICATION:
For new parents/players, completing a registration will create a SportsEngine account for you, with a sub-account for your child.  You can customize your notification settings within your account, as well as keep track of events once they're added to the calendar.  This also enables the coaches to communicate with your child about practices and drills.  Any communication sent to your child should automatically be copied to you.

This registration session will allow you to complete contact information and sign up for participation.  Please read through each page carefully to ensure that all information is provided accurately.  
 

Following the completion of this registration, you will receive an invoice from treasurer@bcwp.org within 7 business days.  Remember, a registration fee of $250 needs to be paid before the first practice.
